When A was a baby the grocery carts allowed you to put the baby seat on top of the grocery cart, and it latched in. Well, they don't fit anymore, or at least for the carseat we have! So, you have to put the baby seat in the buggy which leaves a very small space for your groceries! And we all know that I don't really like going to the grocery store, so I like to get as much as possible in one trip! Well, J also likes to go grocery shopping. And a lot of times its on the weekend while I am sleeping, so he has the kids. He is a brave husband, I don't know many who will take 2 small kids out to the store and shopping! I usually carry C in the sling (which just isn't a manly thing) and A either walks or rides in the buggy seat. So, J and I were trying to think of an easier way for him to shop. Well, I decided that we could buy one of those grocery cart covers. I thought they were sort of ridiculous when A was a baby. They cost about $40 then.
So in the times of the SWINE and lots of germs I decided to try a shopping cart cover out. They have now come down in price to $20. And I figured that we would have to wait a month or so to be able to use it. So, A, C and I went to HT just for a short list. I had my patience with me, just in case this was a disaster. I put her in the cart with the cover..........AND SHE LOVED IT!!! She did great! At 7 months who would've thought? And since then I have used it several more times! No fussing! She thinks she is "the STUFF", as you can see in the picture above!!
(apologies to all the moms that i have silently made fun of in the past for having a shopping cart cover)
