I cannot believe that I have had a daughter for 8 months. Sometimes it feels like 2 years. I cannot even remember life without her! But then again, I think where oh where have these 8 months gone?
As I was feeding her before putting her down tonight, I just realized how big she is getting! Its truly amazing how time flies (and it REALLY flies once you have kids). I have this vision of them being teenagers and it scares me. They are only little for such a short time.
Clarke at 8 mos.......
...crawling all over the house
...attempting to eat Kaya's food everyday (yes, i have found dog food in her mouth)
...pulling up on furniture and anything else possible (my legs)
...no teeth (biting on everything in site)
...being picky about foods (loves sweet potatoes, hates applesauce)
...completely attached to mommy
...still waking up for that 5am feed
...loves splashing around in the bathtub
...gives open mouthed kisses
...attempts to wave
...very ticklish (esp in the rib region and her knees)
...loves to be barefoot (hippie child!)
...is fascinated by the iPhone
...still loves to stand up (can even take a couple steps if you get her standing up)
...not yet a pro at going from crawling to sitting
...enjoys walks in her stroller outdoors
...loves to watch dogs
...says mama (and means it)
...can roll a car on the floor
...has a beautiful smile and pretty blue eyes

I know what you mean. I look at Levi and wander where the time went! Don't worry about the dog food, I think all kids have eaten a piece or three, it is okay. :)
I can't wait to meet her on Thursday--will you all be at your dad's?
