The Move...

Well, we figured that it would be a good idea to move C into A's room before B3 arrives. We thought that too much change at once would NOT be good. So, on Tuesday J took down C's crib and moved it across the hall to A's room....now to be A & C's room. (too bad it had to be taken down and put back up because it wouldn't fit through the doors). Well, come naptime we completed our normal routine, reading a few books and then singing a few songs, and I put her in the crib. WELL, she started screaming. And then I heard some banging. I thought the banging was just kicking. For those who aren't familiar with our little drama queen, she likes to bang her head on anything when she doesn't get her way. So, I decided to go check on her....(she had only been in there for 5 minutes or less). She had 3 big bumps and a horizontal red line on her forehead. WOW. I guess the banging was her head on the crib side rail......NO NAP ON TUES
Tuesday night J had to stay in their room for about 2 hours until she fell asleep.....which turned out to be close to 10:30....Wednesday wake up call....6:15 am with a curling scream!!!!!!!!
Wednesday...nap...only took about 1 hour of staying in the room...
Wednesday night, a little better. Maybe 1 hour or so....wake up call Thurs am...5:45AM (not pretty) with an episode of head banging.
Thursday.... MUCH BETTER. Naptime easy (mom put her down this time) and bed time EASIER (was down without a sound within 10-15 minutes!!
Lets hope this gets easier and easier as time goes on. She used to be so WONDERFUL about going to bed. You would tell her night night and you wouldn't hear a peep.
I had no idea this would be that difficult. I figured she would LOVE sleeping in the same room as A.
