Unwanted Visitors

 The pic above is a five lined skink. Clarke found it in my kitchen! I was chasing it around with a SOLO cup trying to catch it in hopes that it would NOT go under my couch! It ended up running out the back door, THANK GOODNESS. The craziest thing is when it is running it moves like a snake, not a lizard. That's what freaked me out the most.

And here is Blacky. Can you see him right up against the house? His head and some more of his body are buried under the straw near the gutter. I'd say he's about 4 ft long. We've seen him twice. The first time I saw him I was terrified. Second time he was in the same place, so it didn't scare me so much!


I hope the kids don't get too close to the snake!
