We were so blessed to spend the holidays with our families this year. A great friend at work volunteered to work for me on my scheduled holidays of Christmas Eve and Christmas Night. I had been worrying about this for a couple of years, knowing as a weekender, if the holiday falls on a weekend, you are working. Usually I can make it on little sleep, but this year was a double whammy....the worst of the worst... But I got the best Christmas present ever. Time with my family, immediate and extended.
On the 23rd, we had Eddy Family Christmas at the Fulbrights. It wasn't quite the same as it has been in years past with a few missing....Aunt Judy and Uncle Dave, Leigh and Dave, Liz and Pat, Meg, and of course, Grandaddy. We had a great time though!
