Paint

So, I thought I had picked out some colors out of the pottery barn magazine that I liked for the house. I decided to try out the kitchen and the den today. I am in love with the kitchen color, the den color, can't decide. How on earth are you supposed to test out a color with 2oz. of paint???? The kitchen color didn't come in the 2oz sample so I got a quart. Why didn't I do that for the den color? I guess you learn something new everyday!
I think I will buy a gallon tomorrow for the kitchen!!! That is as long as I get the approval :)
I will be so happy to get rid of this "sterile" feeling in the house! Everything is the same color. Antique white.

Ahhh, picking out paint can be quite the headache. Our playroom color was supposed to be a deep burgundy color and came out looking like purple sherbet in the afternoon sun, lol. We had to have it darkened and paint the entire thing again. The buddies room was supposed to be a fun green color, and came out John Deere green. I was too tired to drive BACK to Albemarle and redo it, so it has stayed. Why are there so many choices? Try to find white for a trim color and there are 45 different ones, lol.

Oh, yeah, the fun of picking out paint colors. Why are they a million different shades of the same color? It just confuses me. Good Luck getting just the right color!
