Santa Pic

I know that this is way over due, but I just got around to uploading my December pics to the comp! We soooo lucked out on our Santa visit this year. We took an evening trip to Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens for a look at the lights. Each year they decorate the gardens with millions (literally) of Christmas lights. We went a couple of years ago, and thought that this would be something fun to do while cousin Robyn was visiting. We knew that Santa was there some nights, but weren't really counting on seeing him. We walked in right as a Greyhound bus of senior citizens (is that pc? i hope so) arrived. We didn't know how this would turn out, especially considering that we drove 45 minutes in the dark with 5 people packed into the Altima with a screaming 8 month old in the back seat, wanting to eat and go to bed. So, we pay our way, walk in, looking for a cup of coffee or hot chocolate to take out in the frigid 35 or so degree weather to look at the lights, and there sits SANTA! He was amazing. There were only 3 people (and mind you they were adults....older than me) in line to see him. There was nothing posted saying "no pictures". We were in luck! So A went up there and told SC just what he wanted.....a racetrack and a spiderman web blaster. SC said a few things to A, that of which I did not hear, but A sure seemed to be listening. He must have done exactly what he was told, because SC brought him EXACTLY what he asked for! We were able to take as many pics as we wanted (for no extra charge) and got some really great shots! Baby C was nice and comfy in the sling, so after the screaming all the way to the gardens, we decided against sitting her up on SC's lap. Oh well, no first Christmas with Santa pics.......guess we will wait til next year!

Love it!!!! I have been told that the one in Bass Pro at the Mills takes free pics for parents, and isn't crowded.

so cute! Thanks for following along on our SA adventures! Too bad little C was sleeping for Santa, but i'm sure you have some amazing pics of them both from Dec anyway. Great that the hubby gets to work from home! I bet it's nice that the kids (and you) get to see him a lot while he's there!
