The favor bags for the kiddies. We had family and Clarke's best friend, Annalei and her Mom, Hillary.
Chocolate Rice Krispie treats for the adult party favors. I think they were a hit!!
Some guests chose to wear ears!!
Clarke has the opening gifts part down pat!! She loved her new clothes!
THE CAKE. I worked hard on this one. French Vanilla Cake with Cream Cheese icing. The black part was crushed Oreos. I decided not to do black icing, because it would have turned everyone's teeth and lips a nice shade of BLACK. Just threw the Oreos in the mini food processor and they turned out into a fine sprinkle. I think everyone enjoyed the Oreo part and it was great paired with cream cheese icing underneath! I didn't realize until the party was over that I forgot one very crucial part of Minnie....can you figure it out? (Yes- her eyelashes!!!) Oh well, the Birthday Girl didn't seem to notice!
Since Clarke is at her best in the morning, we had the party early- 10:30am and served lunch. It worked out great, especially since I had to work that night as well. Ham and Turkey subs with all the fixings were delish.
Aunt Meg let us decorate the house with pieces from her Minnie Mouse collection. Thanks!!
