Picture update....

So, could you have guessed that we have been staying busy? Here are a few pictures from this week so far. 

Lars eating a cupcake from Clarke's end of school playgroup today. He was enjoying himself!!

My birthday dessert made by my personal chef. It was a molten lava cake....YUM!!!! (3 candles in the cake and 2 in the ice cream.) Cute.

Here is Clarke at Pigtails and Crewcuts. The "fancy" beauty shop for kids. She FINALLY agreed to cutting her hair. We have been struggling daily with combing and brushing her hair. To tears. I have been asking her for quite some time if we could go get it cut. She hasn't wanted to go. Then yesterday she said I want to go get my hair cut.....before she changed her mind she was sitting in the firetruck chair! She did a great job. She loved it. Actually last night she told me she was ready to go back and get it cut again.....

And here is Arlen at his first swim practice (yes, that's him 3rd from the end). He went through 2 sessions of swim school this year in my hopes that he would be on the neighborhood swim team this year. He kept saying that he didn't want to do it (swim team). J and I decided that he was going to try it this year no matter what. Well he is LOVING it. The instructor is awesome. He just finished his freshman year at ECU and is home for the summer. He is very passionate about swimming and is GREAT with little kids. Arlen loves him. We are really excited to get to know some of the neighborhood kids better too. Clarke even met a little friend her age yesterday. So- we will be at the pool every afternoon for the next.....month or so!!!!
