Ok, so we have a problem. The next door neighbors, which happened to move in 2 weeks before us, have REALLY annoying dogs. I am a dog lover, and we all know my dog can be REALLY annoying too. However, each morning at 6:15 AM these people let their 2 beagles out in the backyard, and they BARK. LOUDLY. This can go on for 10-15 minutes! It so happens that our bedroom is on that side of the house. No need for an alarm clock here!! Some days they leave them out all day while they are at work.....AND THEY BARK ALL DAY!!! It doesn't bother me as much during the day, because I can turn on some music to drown the barking away.
So, we are not the only ones in the neighborhood that have noticed this. Bunny, the lady 2 doors down from us, has told J that alot of people are going to be writing letters. At first I thought I was being selfish, but if others, esp. ones DOWN THE STREET can hear them too, I know that its a problem. What should we do? I don't want them to be upset with us, I mean we do live beside them, and other than the dog problem they are VERY nice!
Any suggestions???

That is a tough one. I know you don't want them to think you are just trying to get something started. On the other hand, 6:15 is pretty early for the barking. Especially when you will be having a baby soon, and might have been up all night. How well do you know them? If you have talked to them, maybe you could bring it up that the barking is loud. Around here, the hubs just goes outside and shoots the shotgun to chase away annoying, barking dogs, lol. He actually told our elderly neighbors about it the next morning (so they wouldn't be scared), and they didn't even hear the dogs or the gun. :)
Well you know what our outcome was with the dog problem and we were very nice. I think it depends on the neighbors and what kind of people they are. Maybe get to know them. I agree with Shannon, once the baby comes, could be bigger issue. Good luck!!
