Three years ago today....I think at this time (9am) I was trying to eat a bagel. I could hardly eat half of it. I was nervous. Nervous of all of the people that were coming to our celebration. Nervous about the weather. Nervous about the amount of alcohol we were going to have at the reception considering that I signed a form saying we wouldn't have much more that 6 cases (it was in a public park). Nervous that everyone would be on time. But what I wasn't the least bit nervous about was the fact that I was marrying Justin. I knew that he was the one to spend my whole life with. I knew that I could grow old with him. I knew that I would be safe with him.
Its hard to believe that 3 years have gone by since that day. Then sometimes it feels like its been much, much longer than that. In 3 years we have done a lot! My mother says that we have done all of the "fun" stuff in the first 3 years of our marriage and that the next 20 are going to be boring. There is NO way that our lives can ever be boring! We won't let it be!! We just don't know how to do that!!
Things we've done in the first 3 years....
Bought the Altima
Sold the house at Hammond Drive
Bought our castle at Newton Lane
Had a beautiful baby girl
Remodeled the Guest Bath upstairs
Taken road trips to Louisville KY, St. Augustine FL (x2)
Gotten pregnant with Baby #3
Sold the Altima and bought a VW MiniVan!!!!
There are many, many more daily adventures in between all of the more memorable bigger adventures. We like it that way. And really, there is NEVER a dull moment for us!!!
