We had our 23 week checkup today. Everything is moving right along. I gained 7 pounds in four weeks (I am going to blame that on the shoes I was wearing :) ). However, overall have only gained 11 pounds. She said that absolutely everything in the last check-ups ultrasound was completely normal. The heart rate today with the doppler was 156 and strong! I mentioned my bottom hurting pretty bad this time, which is unlike the pregnancy with Ar. She said it could be from the lifting of a 30lb toddler. She said he is going to have to learn to climb........he didn't like that. My belly measured at 24 weeks!!
Arlen was at the appt with me this time.......which took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I told him that if he was good the whole time, he would get a treat......a milkshake. So, he behaved VERY well. We got to the drive-thru at Mickey D's and guess what.......the milkshake machine was broken. Tears started rolling. Why does the machine always break at the most inoppourtune time?

McDonalds is so good at that!!! Screwing up the ice cream machine at the most important time. What kind of treat did you get him instead?
Yeah, I've had to learn not to promise a free cookie or the child sized shopping cart at The Pig. Been burned too many times. Now, "we'll see."
Oh, so sorry. I hate it when that happens. Glad the check-up went well.
