Breakfast at Arlen's School

Last Wednesday I was honored at a Mother's Day Breakfast at A's school. We were to walk in to class instead of dropping off in carpool. A was so excited that I was coming with him to school. He didn't really want C to tag along, but I told him that I could not leave her at home by herself. So, he was OK with that. They had worked on several things for Mommies. They made us a card out of a REUSED cd case. What a clever idea! The teachers had taken a picture of the kids and placed it in there. The picture was taken on the day that the photographer came, so the kids were all dressed up. They also made us a potholder with a flower pot on it. It was there hand minus the thumb. The petals on the flowers were their fingerprints. Too cute. They had also filled out a sheet on their mom. Here goes....

My mom's name is: CAREY
My mom has BROWN hair and BLUE eyes.
She is BIG feet tall and weighs 4 pounds.
My mom likes to eat CARROTS.
My mom is happy when SHE HAS A SMILEY FACE.
I know she is really angry when I DO SOMETHING BAD.
My mom's favorite TV show is AMERICAN IDOL.
My mom is smart. She knows all about COLORS.
If my mom could have one wish come true, it would be TO BE A LION.
I love my mom because SHE MAKES ME CEREAL.
Love, Arlen
